Nature at its best - what’s in bloom in Winter?

When you see a tree standing proud and tall even though it has lost all its leaves, you know its winter and may even be counting days to spring. This tree at the state capitol was waiting to be captured by the lens. And I am so glad I did. Look at her — isn’t she a beauty?
I love spring when the flowers bloom and I didn’t realize there are some exceptional flowers that get their limelight in winter.
Let’s set the stage and bring together the glorious wonders of winter.
We don’t get much snow in Raleigh as we do in the rest of the Northeast but on Monday, we got a glimpse of snow and I felt happy.
When the sun bows to the world, you are in awe.
