Arume opened at 7pm and there was already a line waiting at 6:40pm. We were lucky to get seated without a reservation. The shrimp tempura was perfect — light and crispy. Seafood Paella was flavorful and quite filling for two. At the end, we got a house special dessert drink.
Photo 💖: Most of the streets in Barcelona start with carrer de. We visited the art museum MNAC, Poble Espanyol with regional architecture, Antoni Gaudi’s architectural miracles — Casa Milà, Casa Batlló; La Sagrada Familia which started construction in 1880, Park Güell, Gothic Quarter, Torre Agbar (Water Tower).
Palacio Real de Madrid with landscaped gardens is the official residence of the Spanish Royal Family in Madrid. A classic baroque architecture built in the 18th century.
Some streets in Madrid start with Calle. Parque de El Retiro, Calle Gran Via.
San Sebastian Donostia — a resort town, that we fell in love with the day we arrived in the mountainous Basque county.
On our first day, we added salt instead of sugar in the chai, since both were powdered. And we learnt sal & azúcar that day :)
Walking by the alleys of Parte Vieja, the old town, we had a tough time deciding where we wanted to get pintxos.
La Cuchara had some unique bite size hot pintxos with a twist — foie ravioli, grilled octopus, suckling pig, veal cheek.
Lovely memories and we would love to be back in San Sebastian.
